Tour Information & Preparation
Our tours typically last about 1,5 to 2,5 hours, depending on the itinerary and pace of the group.
We limit our tours to a maximum of 15 participants to ensure a more personalized experience and allow for interaction with the guide.
Most of our tours are conducted in English. We also offer tours in Slovak for closed, organized groups.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, along with weather-appropriate clothing. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a camera to capture memorable moments! You can also bring your own set of headphones, but please note that not all types of equipment are compatible. If you plan to enter the church, be aware that there may be dress code restrictions. It may be helpful to carry an additional clothing item, such as a scarf, to ensure you can cover up as needed. Additionally, please remember to have your booking confirmation with you, as the guide will need to check it before the tour.
Our tours go on, rain or shine! If the weather’s really bad and we need to cancel or reschedule, we’ll let you know ahead of time and offer some other options. Just a heads up – if the weather’s a bit sketchy or it’s slippery, we might change things up or cut the tour a bit short for safety.
We strive to make our services as inclusive as possible. For each tour, we indicate whether there are stairs involved. Generally, tours labelled as “no stairs” are also suitable for gentle walkers and clients with disabilities. The tour with a shortest itinerary is our Old Town & Blue Church tour if you skip the extension.
Absolutely! Our tours are family-friendly.
Yes, you can join the tour with your dog; however, please note that access to some indoor areas may be restricted.
Safety & Transportation
Bratislava is generally a safe city, however, like any popular tourist destination, it’s important to remain vigilant and safeguard your personal belongings.
Bratislava has a functional and relatively efficient public transportation system. It includes trams, buses, and trolleybuses that cover the city and its surrounding areas. Overall, while there may be some areas for improvement, most visitors find Bratislava’s public transportation system to be convenient and effective for getting around the city. If you have a paper ticket, please remember to validate it in the machine immediately after boarding the vehicle.
Audio Devices
On our tours, we use the latest RETEKESS audio devices, featuring a noise reduction system and a stable signal. The receivers are small, lightweight, and easy to wear, weighing only about 50 grams. They come with D-shaped headphones suitable for both the left and right ear. You can also use your own set of headphones, provided that they are compatible.
No worries! Our devices are modern and user-friendly, already preset for your convenience. You only adjust the volume if necessary.
If by chance you leave without returning the device to the guide and leave it at the Bratislava Tourist & Information Center at Klobucnicka Street within one hour from the completion of the tour, you will not be charged a fee for non-return.
Bookings & Customer Service
Yes, a booking is required. Please have your booking confirmation ready (either printed or on your mobile) before the tour, as the guide will check it. After verification, the guide will provide you with an audio device linked to your reservation.
Yes, we offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance. For more information, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
If you can see the tour in the calendar, but you cannot book a spot, this means that either the tour is fully booked or it is a private tour for a closed group.
Please note that our staff wear two hats – they are not only dedicated team members, but also knowledgeable tour guides. If we are unable to respond right away, it’s likely because we’re out leading a tour. Please bear with us and we’ll get back to you as soon as we return. Thank you for your patience and understanding – we appreciate it.
